Check up/weigh-in
Had another 6 week check up today. I have lost 16 lbs. in the last 6 weeks. I lost 10" in that time, 6 of it was in my waist! My total weight loss is 70.5 lbs. I asked if I should be concerned about my calories, I usually eat around 800 a day, but some days I hit 1000. She said 1000 isn't bad for me at all, with the amount of exercise I do. She said she had just had a girl who was down to 135 lbs. come in for her check up. This girl told her she was training for a mini-marathon and she runs 7 miles a day. She said she eats 800 cals a day. So, the nurse talked to the dietician about this because she didn't think it sounded right and the dietician said that the girl should be having 1500 cals a day. I also asked if I should be concerned about my carb intake and she said not if it's fruits and veggies. I should be concerned about anything sugary, if that's where my carbs are coming from. When she was measuring my arm, she said my arms look great. Not much loose skin there at all. Overall, it was a very good visit! I have 50 lbs. more to go.
