I have been having the same problem!!! I have been so stressed out this past two weeks I have become addicted to those nacho cheese flavored goldfish. THey are the devil! As soon as I cut them out last weekend I lost 5 pounds. Can you believe it? I went on a goldfish binge yesterday though so I am trying to get it back together. I am so ashamed of myself for letting my emotional state take over again. I had to go on the protein train for 3 days to get over the carb cravings and lost 5 pounds in 2 days. Its just so hard to stay on the protein train. Anyway. Good luck to you. Shannon 279/215/140

Those goldfish are evil!! I was eating those last month and it really kept me at a standstill as far as my weight goes. It's so hard to stop emotional eating!! I checked out your page Shannon and you look great!

I had a check-up today and asked if I should be watching my carbs and she told me I didn't have to worry about them, if they were coming from fruits and vegetables. She said if they are coming from sugary foods, snacks and sweets that, yes, I should limit that stuff. I told her that some days I get more carbs than protein and she said when it's from fruits and veggies, your body burns it right away. When it's from sweets, your body doesn't use it and it's stored as fat. Good luck at your appt. tomorrow! Marcia Oh P.S. After that conversation, I ate a chocolate chip granola bar! So, we all give in to the temptations.

Keke: Don't worry be happy...and remember tomorrow is another day...and go on from that...10 pounds is great...so just try and make some good food choices...and don't worry be happy...the end result will be the same...you will get there...this is a tool...that is not going anywhere...I hiked yesterday in the mountains for 5 miles and today did an three mile walk...also the scale started to move again...take care and you are doing great... dang !!!! 5 miles ??? go you I think i only walk about a mile 3-5 times a week (not including my weight lifting and aerobics) but wow 5 miles AWESOME. btw, how much calories do you burn running 5 miles ? Keke, hang in there we all have our dayz !!

Hi: Not sure how many calories I burned..part of the climb was straight up a mountain...wanted to turn my work out up a bit so the mountain climb did it...I am planning on doing it once a week and then try for two...it is a hard walk and it did the trick...broke the stall... Dennis
