Can't exercise for three weeks
I had a mole removed from the crease behind my left knee. The dermatologist said I should not exercise my lower body for three weeks. If I do I'll risk popping the stitches or causing the wound to reopen. That effectively eliminates most cardio, although she said I could still lift weights for my upper body. I never thought I'd be bummed about not being able to exercise, but I've been in a nice groove for about 8 weeks now (cardio 4-5X per week, lifting weights 2-3X per week). Methinks it's going to be a long three weeks...

The doc said I can try walking after a week or so, but she seemed to feel that even that would aggravate my wound and make it harder to heal. I'm planning to lift weights for my upper body every other day and will try walking in 4-5 days (after the incision has had a little time to heal). I don't want to lose my "groove," so am going to do as much as I can without causing this wound to open.
