Hi all, This is the first time I've posted on this forum. I just need some support and encouragement. I'm down 75 pounds since my surgery date, but at times I feel as though I should have lost more. I don't do protein shakes, since I try to get my protein from food. I don't have too much of a problem getting in my water. What do you all think?? Also, do you guys have any suggestions for Calcium intake. I constantly choke on those giant Citracal pills. Thanks for your support and good luck to everybody! Megen 389/314/180?

Hi Megen, I've lost the same as you and feel the same way too. I often wonder if I'm losing fast enough or if I'll ever get to where I want to be. I haven't been drinking the shakes either and I keep forgetting to take my calcium. I have to do better with that. I met someone who had the surgery 3 years ago and now she wears a size 8 down from a size 26. I keep thinking that can't possibly happen to me. I wish I had more faith. Good luck with your weight loss, Karen

Thank you both Rachel and Karen. I really appreciate the support right now! I agree that I should start tracking on Fitday. I've done it before, but it was so time consuming. Oh well. Rachel, are the capsules on Vitalady the ones that have magnesium and calcium for 14.99??? I just want to make sure I get the right ones. Thank you both again and good luck to you as well! Megen

Megen, everyone is SOOOO different! I've lost 80 lbs but there are people who have lost 100+. We can't expect to lose like everyone else or to be identical. Our journey has to be as unique as we are! I know it's hard, but we have to take off the unbelieveable pressure that we put on ourselves. You're doing great! Hugs, Vi

75 lbs. is great!!! We have spent our whole lives beating ourselves up about our weight. Now it's coming down and we still beat ourselves up about it. Let's just enjoy it. Wal-Mart has Citrical Petites. They're exactly the same, just a smaller size. They are definately easier to swallow. Take Care! Marcia

Thanks everybody for all your support. It is much appreciated! I'm glad I found this forum!!! Marcia, I will have to look into the Citrical petites too! That might be better! I know I should be happy with 75, but I guess that's something else to work on....accepting it for what it is.... thanks again!
