Stomach Cramps?

I am having the strangest stomach pain and I am wondering if it's the new, different feeling of hunger or if there's something wrong. It's not like having a stomach ache pre-surgery, this is like a pain, cramp even. I notice if I drink water and my stomach get's really empty that's when it hurts the most, but I am a little afraid it could be my gallbladder! Has anyone had any kind of experience even remotely similar?

I had the same problem a couple of months ago and found out after talking to my surgeon that it's trapped gas! I take Malox (or Gas X) chewables and it subsides in a while! I thought it was my gallbladder too. Most painful gas I ever had!!
