No Cali Trip for Me.
Hi Vi,
When you mentioned a few days ago that you had a fallout with a long-term friend, I was hoping it wasn't your friend in California. I'm sorry to see that I was wrong. It's sad for you, I know. It's never a good time to lose a friend. It would be a very sad time for me, also. Here's a hug
Now, to look at the silver lining (because there always is one)...isn't it a good thing that you had this falling out BEFORE you spent a fortune on plane tickets? ...before you got stuck in the same house with someone who is obviously not supportive of your new lifestyle and is perhaps jealous of it? ...before you had to have this argument in person? Yes, it's still a bad thing, but it could have been worse.
You still have a planned vacation, right? If you still want to come to California, come on and visit me If you're here, maybe I'll get to do all the tourist-y things I never get to do. Your Jet Blue ticket can go to Ontario just as inexpensively. and YES, I mean it!
You'd have to put up with DH and the boys, but I think you can handle it.
Cheer up, Vi. Maybe she'll come around...or maybe she won't. You're strong enough to handle it.
Hugs
Cheryl
Oh Vi! What a bummer! Those of us out here in Cali were waiting for your arrival! I'm sorry about your friend, but I did notice that you had a long talk with her? I hope everything pans out well, but if not, you don't need any negativity in your life anyway. Everything does happen for a reason, I'm a firm believer in that. You're such a positive beautiful person and you're an inspiration to many, including me. If your friend doesn't appreciate that in you, then it's her loss of a great friend which are hard to come by.
We'll just have to wait until you get another chance to come out here!
