MY DAUGHTERS ARE BROWNIES AND THE COOKIES CAME IN. I ONLY LET THE GIRLS BUY ONE BOX EACH. A BOX WAS OPEN AND I ATE ONE. THIS HAS BEEN THE ONLY SUGAR, SWEETS THAT I HAVE EATEN SINCE MY SURGERY. I HADN'T CHEATED UNTIL TODAY. AND DARN IT, IT DIDN'T MAKE ME SICK. I WI**** WOULD HAVE. BUT I ONLY ATE ONE WHICH WAS 3 GRAMS OF SUGAR. I GOT IT OUT OF MY SYSTEM AND THANK GOD THEY ARE ALREADY GONE. NOW JUST HAVE TO AVOID THOSE LITTLE GIRLS AT THE GROCHERY STORE. CAN'T MAKE EYE CONTACT, CAN'T BUY ANY MORE COOKIES. JANE 296/216/150GOAL

Jane, Although I don't usually buy cookies. I found in one of the stores we have here in Mass called the Christmas Tree Shop, no sugar added animal crackers with splenda made by Sorbee. They taste good. Remeber the animal crackers we all ate as kids/teens/adults. This is the same as those. For 10 cookies = 100 calories, 3 grams fat, 0 cholesterol , 95 mg salt, 21 carbs,1.5g maltitol. To check out alot of other things that they sell go to [email protected]. they have a huge selection of no sugar added/ sugar free products including cookies that would be fine to eat. My nutritionist told me about the site. Hope this is of some help. I'm sure the girl scout cookie tasted so good. Lisa J. in Mass

Lady D~ I have had some cadbury mini eggs already this season as my treat with dinner. THe coating tasted as good as it used to, but the chocolate wasn't as good. I ate 3, was satisfied and gave the rest to DH. And now I don't want them anymore. Jenn 264.8/193.8/145

MMMM....Brownies. No bad, can't eat children I wish stores had a back entrance around this time of year. If you feel bad, just give them a couple of dollars for their troop. -Dawn M.

Jane~ Shame on you for eating one cookie! Hmmm....One cookie isn't bad at all when you think about it. Before surgery I would have ate a whole box myself w.in 2 days. This surgery is not about denying yourself of every goodie for the rest of your life. Buy yourself a box of your favorites, freeze them in servings of one or two and have a treat every day or every other day. My diet plan allows me a treat EVERY SINGLE DAY. Sometimes I chose fruit or a SF dessert, but many times I chose a wonderful, rich, gooey treat that only takes a couple of tastes to satisfy. I refuse to deny myself the things I love. Now some of the things I used to love don't taste so good to me now, but many still do, but 3-4 bites satisfies. Please don't be so hard on yourself. Jenn 264.8/193.8/145

DAMN THE GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!! I miss the Samoas!!! Ok...just needed to vent I did find some S/F chocolate wafer cookies that are pretty good. I ate 3 last night and did ok. I just have to be careful of the sugar alcohol so I'm not in the bathroom all night.

My surgeon told me to eat no more than 10g of sugar, so 3 shouldn't be a problem at all. I have to admit, we ordered cookies from my 3 nieces, and I plan on eating one or two here and there as a treat. Portion control is definitely the key to lasting success. Good luck with those cookies. Carol
