3 weeks now I been stuck at 305. I have ate a couple things I prolly shouldnt of but didnt get anywhere close to 1000 calories. What has worked for you to boost that weight loss? If the scale doesnt move soon Im gonna die. I am so discouraged.

To get out of my rut I just went back to a protein shake in the morning and made sure I drank my water/warm decaff tea all day. I really strive to get my 60gr of protein a day in. I am never hungry and I stay busy all day. I have a plan as to what I am doing to eat and snack on the night before for the next day. I have nuts with me at all times and an orange, oranges are fine with me. Good luck I know this part is so hard. Make sure you are exercising. If you can't go to a work out facility the tapes, walk a way the pounds are great to do at home. You can find the VHS as wal mart really cheap. Good luck Jane 296/218/150goal

Nooooooooooooo, my Deb, do NOT let it discourage you. I was stuck at 278 for about 3 weeks and suddenly it started dropping like crazy. The past week I dropped about 7 lbs and really wasn't doing anything different. I just hung in there and got mad on occasion. I don't think it's up to us to "break" the stall, I think your body just needs to adjust and then it will catch up. I know you'll read this and say OK WHATEVER!!! Believe me I did... But it's true!!! I got on the scale this morning as saw 265 and was like WHAT THE>>> I do know tha****er is key though, so drink drink drink!!! I started really concentrating on my water consumption and it has helped tremendously. Up until recently I just couldn't fit it in. And this from a girl who drank a gallon of water a day PRE-OP! Try cutting down on carbs (I did even though it killed me) and yes, you have to try and increase your protein AND I know you're not going to like this... but no alcohol. It'll happen for you girl, in no time, you'll be past that damn stall! I know it sucks while you're in it, but you'll be doing that happy dance soon. HUGS, Vi

Excercise is the only thing that keeps me losing. If I don't do it the scale doesn't seem to move.

Deb...I agree with Vi...it is not something that you can do...the stall is your body's way of playing catch up...you are probably losing inches...I have been eating way more then usual...and the scale is dropping one pound over night, two pounds over night...I under stand after the third month...the weight really starts to come off, as the body knows we are not trying to starve it to death and it is more comfortable with the small amount of food we do eat....protein, Deb protein...you need to get in the protein...start the day with protein and end the day with protein...and then protein food through the day and plenty of water... the happy the stall will break I promise you...just hang in there...and know you are losing inches... Deb...you forgot to mention that you have lost 71 pounds to this date...that is wonderful...go do the happy ...also no drinky pooooooo...noooooo it is a no no...so cut out the drinks...up the protein, and water...and you will do great...keep up the good work...you have to work this tool...our doctors say drinking is forbidden until at least one year out...so think about it... Hi Deb, I was stuck on a pleateau for over 3 weeks. I started exercising again (which I hadn't done since right before Xmas) and I focused on trying to get in water. Also, I increased my protein by increasing my milk but not just any milk, I started using the Hood milk which is low in carbs. After one week of this, I dropped another 5 lbs. Hope that helps. Hugs, Loretta
