Survived a week of business travel
I spent last week traveling on business, and ate out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And...I lost 1.5 lbs over the course of the week! I tried to make sensible protein-based choices, tried to eat until I felt mildly full, then stopped. Yes, I did have a couple of bites of dessert, and I did drink two glasses of wine. I think they key is MODERATION.
Today my live-in nanny had a small Superbowl party, and there was tons of junky food around. I had a very small piece of pizza, about 2" x 3", and a few tortilla chips, and a couple of big glasses of water. That was it; I was able to leave the other food alone and not really feel tempted like I would have before.
WLS is a miracle!
