my nightmare trip from hell
Sheryl, I am so sorry. You have been going through such a rough year. I am so sad for you. Don't worry what you eat, just make sure to take your vitamins and a protein shake now and then. Let me know if you need anything. I'd love to send you a card, email me your address if you'd like to
A big hug to you, especially your mom.

Thank you all for all your support. I'm sitting here trying to think of something to write for a eulogy. I can think of a million things in my head, but I'm not eloquent enough to put them to paper.
Celia...you made me think of something. You've all been reading so much about my dad lately, so I thought you might like to read his obituary. This is the link for it in the sun-times. His name is Howard Lessin.

There is also a page up at www.chicagojewishfunerals.com and a notice in the Chicago tribune as well.
My father was a stubborn opinionated man, but he had the softest heart underneath all the "gruffness". He tought for 39 years, and we are hearing things from former coworkers and former students alike. People who haven't seen him in 20 years are calling the house and telling what a profound affect my dad had on their lives. It's beautiful.
I've got to get back to that eulogy now. Thanks for listening. Feel free to sign the guest books if you want. Thank you all for your support.
Sheryl
I'm so so sorry to hear about your father. You were so looking forward to this trip, I'm sorry to hear what happened. My heart goes out to you and your family. I will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts. I suppose the only thing you can keep in your heart now are all the happy memories of your father and know that he is not suffering anymore. Please lean on us for support when you need it.
