1 HINT ABOUT NIGHT-TIME EATING, MS CHERYL ... IF YOU EAT A SMALL PROTEIN SOURCE, LIKE A FEW NUTS, BEFORE BEDTIME ... YOUR GLUCOSE LEVELS WILL STAY MORE CONSISTENT THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT & BE LOWER IN THE MORNING ... THUS, YOU WILL FEEL BETTER WHEN WAKING UP.
THIS DOESN'T MEAN A MEAL BEFORE BEDTIME, OF COURSE!
BEING DIABETIC, NICK'S MORNING GLUCOSE #s HAVE DROPPED FROM THE 160s DOWN TO THE 140s JUST IN THE LAST MONTH BY DOING THIS. HE'S SHOOTING FOR THE 120s NEXT MONTH.

Thank you for the information. I don't really eat a meal before bedtime, but I do feel the need to have a little something. I have nuts and soy nuts in the house. I am going to borrow my friend's glucose meter and test to see if there's a difference when I do this. I am not diabetic, but one never knows how much their sugar varies unless they test it, right?

I'm 301 and I would like to be 289 by March 1st. I was going to challenge myself a little more and say 285 but I want to be realistic. I also want to take in more protein and drink more fluids like I should. I'm exercising twice a day four days a week so I have that covered. Oh well...we shall see. Have a great day!!
