Sitting at the same weight for over two weeks!
Apparently our poor bodies were sent into SHOCK and are trying to recuperate from it now, hence the stalls. They seem to be very common at this point. (Mine lasted 18 days and now I'm bouncing back and forth with the same ONE POUND! )
But the good news is that no one ever stopped losing after 3 months, so we'll start losing again eventually!
SAME HERE ... 14 DAY STALL SO FAR ... BUT, NOT TO WORRY ... THE BOD IS JUST READJUSTING & GETTING BACK IN BALANCE. IT'S HARD ON OUR BODIES TO GAIN A LOT OF WEIGHT, BUT IT'S ALSO HARD ON THEM TO LOSE A LOT OF WEIGHT BECAUSE THE BODY THINKS IT'S BEING STARVED. SO, IT STOPS US FROM LOSING ANY MORE UNTIL IT "KNOWS" WE AREN'T KILLING OURSELVES, SO TO SPEAK. CHECK YOUR CLOTHING SIZES; YOU SHOULD BE SHRINKING SOMEWHERE ... I HAD A MAJOR BACKSIDE/THIGH SHRINK LAST WEEK, BUT I'M STILL STALLED. IT'S NORMAL & IF YOU DON'T MAKE "FRIENDS" WITH STALLS, YOU'LL BE MISERABLE & FRUSTRATED THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE JOURNEY ... THAT'S THE PATTERN, MR DENNIS! ... LOSE & SHRINK, LOSE & SHRINK.
GOD BLESS DAWN & NICK
I don't know. I really haven't had a stall yet. I had one week where I only lost .2 lbs, but I can't complain about that. Are you taking measurements? Maybe you could do that, just to make sure the inches are changing. Are you not eating enough? Do you exercise everyday? Really change things up one day, try to trick your body. I know you can't do this, but this is what I used to do when I dieted prior to surgery when the scale stopped moving. I would have a cheat day. Once I went back to the healthy diet the next day, the scale would start going down again. I always thought it was because I had tricked my body. Good luck! We will be here to celebrate when the scale finally moves for you. Oh, it also always seems to slow to a trickle when you are close to a goal. Why is that?
