Question for all the seasoned travelers?

Vi, I would advise non-stop. It doesn't cost that much more and you're right about wandering around a strange airport. Plus, if for some reason your original flight should arrive late, you may not connect with the second flight. And, most important for me, it's more convenient and less hassle to just go non-stop. I've gone from Indiana to Las vegas non-stop and it's really not too bad. The time passes pretty quickly. Fran

Thanks, I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the non-stop flight with jetblue for $347! I wasn't keen on going through the stopovers anyway!

I think you'll be happy with your decision. Stop-overs are such a hassle. When are you going? Fran

I'm going May 26 to June 3rd (figured I'd come back on a Saturday to give myself a day to get over my jet lag and do laundry). I can't wait!

I'm going to chime in with the chorus! Non-stop is the best! No layovers. You can always get up and walk around and should do so every hour or so if possible (to avoid blood clots). I've flown a lot including to Latin America (Buenos Aires Argentina - 13 hours non-stop, 18 hours if you stop over in Miami) both ways - with a layover and without. Non-stop is best. Have a great trip!! Hopefully you're so skinny now you won't have any problems with being cumfy in the seats (and no seatbelt extensions! woo hoo!)! Illini

I'm going May 26th, so I have almost 4 months to drop more weight and I am sooooo excited about it being the first time in my life that I can ride a plane and not be spilling over into the next seat! I hadn't needed a seat belt extender yet, BUT that's probably because I hadn't been on a plane in 12 years!! I avoided it! Now I'm soooo eager to get on one! BTW, I have a history of a blood clot, so I will definitely take your advice and get up a lot!
