ok i would like to no what you all are eating for a snack? These are some i have dannon light and fit yogurt,cheese,peanut butter,sf pudding,cool whip,jello,beef jerky,peppronni,so see not a big variety, thats why i need ideas......somedays i have snacks and some days i don't. Do you have 3 meals and 2 snacks? thanks vickie r.

I snack, I see some people are totally anti-snack but I think it's unrealistic to think you can go the rest of our lives never having a snack. I eat cheese, pretzels, popcorn and stuff like you do. Some days I snack, like today and some days I eat a little more at meals and that holds me to the next meal, just depends on the day and the hormones! Good luck... Louise 215/171/125

Looks like a big variety to me. I only have a protien bar or protien drink. Sometimes cheese or yogurt. I have had popcorn and pretzels before but my Dr. read me the riot act about that. She said I shouldn't put anything in my mouth that wasn't nutritious and that snacks like that will lead to grazing and that is the biggest factor in weight gain. But when I go to the movies I get a small popcorn and I enjoy every bit of it. Hey, I'm not a saint!

I don't normally have snacks because I don't eat all that much to begin with, but if I do, I have a little popcorn with parmesan cheese (yum) or a few nuts or some berries (love strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, you name it!). On occasion I'll eat about 1/4 of a protein bar too. But for the most part, my "snacks" were protein shakes since I kept trying to get in enough protein. Vi

I usually try to drink a protien shake for one snack, and usually eat a bar at some point too. Though sometimes instead I will snack on various other items - nuts, chicken (or tuna)salad on whole grain crackers, Pickled Okra, LF cream cheese spread on luncheon meat...hmm..I do eat jerkey, but try to lay off a little, cuz of all the salt. I also eat the occasional "beef stick" Locally I can get "turkey Bites" made by old wisconsin. Tastes just like a beef stick bite, but made w/turkey and alot less fat. still has all the salt and nitrates though! (I don't know if these are available all over or not?) Unfortunately recently I made some rice krispy treats for my hubby, and have NO PROBLEM eating one. gotta keep away from those, or I'll be right back where I started!! Actually, now that I am thinking about it, it seems like I snack too much. I work 3rd shift, and although I don't graze, my meals tend to be at odd times, and I'm not sure whats a meal and whats a snack...bleh!!! ~C

NOPE ... MY SURGEON SAYS AS LONG AS WE GET OUR FLUIDS & PROTEIN IN EACH DAY, & WE'RE STILL LOSIN' WEIGHT, HE DOESN'T CARE IF WE EAT 6 TIMES A DAY OR ONCE A DAY. MY POUCH DOESN'T LIKE EATING IN THE MORNING, SO I USUALLY DON'T START MY FOOD INTAKE UNTIL THE AFTERNOON & EAT SOMETHING PROTEIN/VEGES 2-3 TIMES A DAY. I LOVE S-F POPCICLES, & N-S-A FUDGECICLES & ICE CREAM BARS ... BLUE BUNNY BRAND FROM WAL*MART. GOD BLESS DAWN & NICK
