Ok, I don't want to jump the gun... but...
I've actually gone a WHOLE week without throwing up... how excited am I??
And if that's not exciting enough, I ate 1/2 an english muffin with a little peanut butter on it for breakfast and the bread didn't bother me PLUS I ate the whole HALF (not my usual bite or two)! I hadn't been able to eat any kind of bread or pasta since surgery. Not that I'm looking to be a carb junkie ever again, but it's soooo nice to be able to eat something bread-like once in a while. Maybe some day I'll be able to have a HALF of a GRILLED cheese sandwich again...yum... oh joy, oh rapture!!!!
OH but the best part was when I got on my scale this morning and that number 278 that I had been seeing for 2 weeks finally changed to 277... ok it's not much, but it's a sign (I'm sure) that my latest plateau is coming to an end....HOOORAY!
It doesn't take much to excite me these days!
Vi (who just finished her Wendy's chili for lunch... there IS a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow after all!)
Congratulations on the break through. Half an english muffin!! Woohoo! I find that I can eat grill cheese, well a little bit if I grill it until its crispy on the outside then cut it into 4 triangles and nibble - I can eat one triangle. Anyway congrats on the 1 pound loss too - every pound counts!!

It's so funny to read your post because today I'm excited about the same thing. I haven't thrown up all week and today I ate a whole small Wendy's chili with cheese. I was so excited I called my husbnd to let him know. Yesterday I had half of a cheese sandwich with tomato on pumprnickel bread. Things are looking up!
Yahoo! No more vomiting for you, Vi! Enough is enough, and you've suffered more than your share. I've been having whole wheat toast spread with peanut butter for breakfast; I found this great sprouted grain bread that has 5 grams of protein per slice plus it's super tasty, from Trader Joe's. I'm glad you got to have some carbs for a change!
And the scale has moved - wow! Congratulations! The scale was actually up 1 lb for me today; did you send your lost pound my way? I knew I shouldn't have signed for that shipment yesterday.

Wow! It sounds like several of us are excited about the same thing. Sunday I was able to eat 1/2 a fish filet with out lossing it. I have been back on liquids so long it tasted great.
Congrats on the weight loss, and remember to eat sloooooowwww. We do not want to upset it now, just when it is being nice.
