I tried a lot of yucky ones before I fell in love with this one by Dymatize called Elite Whey in Chocolate Mint... it's like drinking a girl scout cookie to me! I got the 5 lb jug for $25 which worked out to about 32 cents a serving. Much less than what I paid for the other yucky stuff I bought! These guys at bodybuilding.com sell it the cheapest: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/dym/elite.html

Yes I forgot to mention that... I was making it with Lactaid mil****il recently when I started using "carb countdown" fatfree milk or sometimes I use plain old skim milk (it's been agreeing with me again lately). But to change it a bit, I'll throw some frozen mixed berries in the blender with the whey protein and the milk and YUMMY! When I take it to work though, I just use milk and the powder (sometimes I throw ice in) and I love it either way. I bought this great cup from avon that hold the milk in the top with an "ice stick" (this rod that you keep in the freezer) and the bottom holds the powder separately until you're ready to mix the two together. http://shop.avon.com/avonshop/product.asp?pf_id=8902&from=search&find_spec=curves%20protein%20cup I bought it from an avon rep at work before my surgery. It was on sale for $7.99 at the time. I love gadgets. I also got this cute little personal blender at Walmart for $9.99 that I keep at work for the shakes I like to blend up with ice... http://hamiltonbeach.com/kitchen_appliances/beverage/blenders/51101.html

I use zero carb Isopure in Vanilla. It was very gross at first, even the thought of it made me gag, but now that I'm a little further out it's not bad at all! I make smoothies with it- 1/2 c low-sugar low-calorie OJ, 1 scoop protein powder (25 g, sometimes I use 2 scoops, it doesnt change the taste much and adds a lot more protein), 3 frozen whole strawberries and 3 ice cubes. I have this at least twice a day, usually 3 times, and I'm going to start making a little more each time because my little girl LOVES it and will stand next to me the whole time I'm having it asking for it! I want to say it's around $50 at GNC, but they have some kind of member card that has a discount, maybe 10%, and we get a military discount on top of that, so it's not too bad. I get the big jug, too, there is a smaller one. Have you looked anywhere else for the ones you've been using? I'm not ready to change mine, I'm so iffy with everything lately, I'm too chicken to change to something else and not be able to use it... Good luck finding something! Rebecca

Walmart carries Body Fortress in Vanilla and Chocolate-20g of protein and only $12. for 30 servings-it's really good-I use the chocolate with milk and ice in the blender (tastes like a frosty) and the vanilla is good with crystal light and a little froz. fruit along with the ice. YUM.

If you like the Dunkin Donut Iced Latte's you will love the Nectar Cappucino protein powder. I bought it from http://store.bariatriceating.com/nenelaca.html Susan Maria's website. Great price right now too! I mix 1 scoop with 4 oz of 2% milk and 4 oz water - to cut calories
