A WOW MOMENT!

......a wow moment...I am jumping ...just broke into the 230's ....239.6...and I will take it..., , I wanted to have this goal before my three month date of October 24th...and I did it..., ...I am happy....I increased my protein to having a protein drink in the late evening and it broke the stall and took me into the 230's...so I am stoked.......we can do this October people we can do this...., Dennis

Woo HOO, Dennis Glad that stall is GONE! My stall is gone too. I went from being 177-175-178-174-177 to 170 yesterday and today. I added a protein drink snack in the afternoon. I still don't get so much into my stomach before lunch and felt that I was in starvation mode because of not eating much in the way of breakfast. It worked! The stall lasted a month for me and was frustrating. My clothing got looser on me during the stall, so I knew I was getting smaller. I still gauge my progress/success by the scale and I guess I'm not going to get over that any time soon. I'm excited for you, Dennis. It just feels so good to be unstuck. Cheryl

YAAAY FOR YOU!!! Now if only I could break this darn stall too! SOON, though! I'll be patient! I've upped my protein to between 100-120 grams per day by supplementing with shakes 3 times a day, so something's gotta give!! Vi The Gym RAT

Oh My Vickie 100-120 grams of protein..I'm going to call you miss protein from now on. I thought you could only have only so much protein and the rest isn't absorbed, is that right?

Apparently you can only absorb 35-40 grams of protein at a time (in one meal), so I guess if drank 100 grams in one meal, anything over the 35-40 grams wouldn't be absorbed, but drinking 100 grams over the course of the day shouldn't be a problem. My doctor's office said that 35-40 grams at a time was a myth too though, so who knows? I read so many differing opinions that it makes me nuts after a while! Vi

Dennis I drank 2 shakes after I saw you guys yesterday and now I weigh 178lbs!!! I broke my stall too... I weighed in the morning 180lbs went to the gym and got on the scale again and weighed 178 I'm so happy!!! Congrats to you too...I'm upping my protein to 3 shakes a day
