3 month post-op visit

I had my 3 month visit at Dr. Duncan's office yesterday and I have removed a total of 53 lbs, 41 since Oct. They (Dr.Rashid) had told me at my 1 month that I hadn't lost enough weight(-20) so I kinda figured I'd get grilled yesterday as I have only lost 21 the past 2 months, but Dr. Shannon says it's because I wasn't really big in the beginning at that I'm doing a great job. I am so proud I made this choice, I would do it all over in a heartbeat. I am struggling with one thing tho, I know I was pretty at the weight I was before surgery, but now to see people just looking at me and saying "you're a hottie" is a hard thing to get used to, not that I'm complaining....lol I love attention. Yep you are very attractive even at your pre-op weight so bet you will hear a lot of comments with losing the weight! Tough but you can do it! Nice problem..... I am losing at about the same rate as you and also started at a lower weight than many so I just figured it would be this way. But I don't doubt I can get to goal! I have my 3 month post op coming up soon. Had the lab drawn for it today. Best wishes on your journey!

Thats great........you no one day you will see that you are a hottie. Its so hard for me right now to. I get compliments and i think yeah right..But my doc said it may take a yr or 2 for our minds ti catch up with our bodies...............keep up that good work................vickie r.

Melissa, you're doing great! Good work! I agree you, I would make the same choice over again, and wouldn't agonize over the decision as much. This was the right thing for both of us! Best wishes, Sheryl
