Scary...then Wow moment!

So yesterday I'm taking a shower...running late so trying to hurry...all of a sudden I feel a lump by my neck...a surge of panic runs through me ....and I thought...that wasn't there before...... It was my collarbone!!!!! WOOHOO!!! It's been awhile since we've seen each other.... I started doing the happy dance in the shower...then I made my hubby feel it!!! It's funny...sometimes it's just the little things that make me so thankful for this surgery!! What are some of the little things that get you??? Have a great rest of your weekend!!! Shelly

My WOW moment was buying a pair of size 18 pants and actually fitting in them! I haven't seen a size 18 in near 10 years. WOW! Most excellent news about your newly found lump!

That's definetely one of the best!!! I actually have been saving some clothes....until I can fit in them..and today I went to put some on and they are way too big! I was bummed I missed my "window" to wear them...but I wasn't bummed for long! I really don't remember the last time I saw an 18...I love these little "reunions". Keep up the good work Alicia!!

That is so funny, you cracked me up! My latest moment is the my rings now fit me. But the biggest thing I noticed was that I didn't feel like a contortionist getting into a public bathroom stall! yeah for us!! 215/173/125

I still have anxiety going into those tiny things!! All I can say is sometimes it takes a lot of skill and finesse!! LOL

I had that happen to me the other day too and I was so worried I had a tumor or something horrible before I realized it was a COLLAR BONE!! WHO KNEW?

I just love all of these little things popping out at me!!! It's ususally when I least expect it! You are doing great..I just love the pics on your site!!!

Shelly, CONGRATS!!! An awesome moment is truly feeling a lump at your throat! Can you feel your shoulder blades yet? I ran into a wall the other day (on the side of shoulder) and it actually really hurt! Not nearly the same padding anymore... I wanted to say hi to you--we had the same surgeon and I'm only 1 week ahead of you. My profile says Newhoff, but I switched to Simon after I decided on the LAP. I've had a great experience with Dr. Simon. To answer your other question about what gets me--I've been shopping at "Twice as Nice" resale here in Tucson to get a few pieces here and there to help with the ole wardrobe problem and I can't believe I'm down to a 16 bottom and XL/L top in the regular ladies' section!!!! Crazy! (But loving it! )

I too have had a great experience with Dr. Simon! I get to go visit him on Wednesday for my 3 month check. Maybe we can arrange to meet up when you make the trek down here again. Shelly
