I am 10 weeks post op and for breakfast I eat applesauce or a fruit cup; sometimes I have cottage cheese with some fruit on it. I find that the fruit satisfies my sweet tooth and is not too heavy 1st thing in the morning.

I'm a smoothie person, too- I have one for all 3 meals! I use Isopure protein powder, 25g per scoop, and I agree, it's very nice knowing I have that much of a jump on my protein intake so early! Rebecca 227/170/130

Hey Elizabeth, Here's what I'm stuck on right now. I have 2 cups of skim milk with 1 pack of SF Carnation Instant Breakfast and sip on it until 10am. I then have some meat cooked from the night before, or deli meat, or sometimes cheese as a snack. I then have my regular lunch at 1pm. Hope you are able to find some new ideas! Lori 276/216/140

Egg beaters bother me as much as eggs, so I avoid them. :puke: Sometimes I have total protein cereal (which has been discontinued but I hoarded a few boxes) with 1/4 of a banana sliced into it or blackberries. Crackers with cream cheese or peanut butter work for me sometimes too. Lately I've been having Elite Whey Chocolate Mint Shakes with frozen berries and milk (in the blender) because I seem to have an aversion to almost everything! Deli sliced cheese always works for me though and so do a few nuts. I tried the cottage cheese and fresh fruit and that's ok depending on which brand of cottage cheese and what type of fruit I use -- berries work fine for me for now. I have a very picky pouch!! Vi

I'm big on cereal - I usually have a small bowl of Go Lean, or Go Lean Crunch cereal with skim milk. I like to add a small quantity of toasted almonds sometimes. If I have time, I'll make a poached egg and a piece of toast. Also peanut butter on toast, with a glass of milk. Sheryl

I usually have a protein shake as a drive to work, then mid morning have a carb control yogurt for my snack. On weekends I'll have oatmeal or cream of wheat for BF. Something new I discovered a couple weeks ago - broil 2 slices of the turkey bacon and then sprinkle a little mozzarela chese on them - very yummy!!
