Girl if you look at my weight chart on my journal (www.sitekreator.com/shrinkingviolet) you'll see I was on a stall for about 6 weeks and then suddenly it started coming off, so I guess these things will happen. The thing to do is not fixate on it or it will drive you . It was hard, but I had to concentrate on other things and I had to have faith that it would eventually come off again. I don't know anyone who quit losing weight forever after WLS after only 2 or 3 months, so I felt that I wouldn't be the first! Also make sure you are eating enough -- too FEW calories can cause that as well. You're body holds onto theose fat stores for dear life! Keep the faith, it will happen!

You are not alone...I am playing with one or two pounds up and down...walking, protein and water...the body is holding on for dear life...so we hit a stall.... it will happen...and Violet is right..we are making ourself with the friggin scale...so take your measurements instead or try on your biggest pants....don't forget this takes about a year for all the weight to come of...and if you were not a biggie, biggie to start off with...you will go slower as you have less weight to take off...so don't fret....we are going to do this, I know we are...I did get a handle on the munchies...and went back to basics...and dropped two pounds...now only 1 pound over my low...so the next time I look at the friggin scale it will be in the 239's I hope...that is a goal for me and I want it to happen before the 24th...so , , we can do this, yes we can... I am so glad to hear that someone else is experiencing this. I was on a stall for about a week and then I began working out and the pounds began to come off again. But now I am experiencing a gain of 3 pounds!! I havent changed my eating but I have increased my workout. Any ideas as to why this has happened?? Judy 285/235

Sometimes when you start working out, you gain a few pounds of muscle. That will even itself out eventually! Keep up the workout!! Vi
