HOW MUCH HAVE YOU LOST?
Hi everyone! It has been a long while since I have posted! I am interested in getting some numbers from a group that had surgery in October. I had lap rny on October 11th and went for my 3 month visit yesterday. I am down 75.5 lbs and wanted to see if this is a norm. I am in a rut because I feel like I should have lost more and I have that thought like it used to be on all the diets I tried before surgery that I want to wake up tomorrow and it all be gone. I KNOW I KNOW that that is stupid and not realistic I am working on it but I just wanted to see if anyone else is feeling this and how you are all doing weight wise. Thanks and be gentle when ya bash me for my minds eye thoughts!!

HI, I am 11 weeks from surgery. I have lost as of this morning 50 Pounds.
I am happy that it is gone but sad that it isn't more also. I think that is normal.
The thing that has perked me up this morning is remembering that I haven't weighed this amount since Sept. of 1999! (when I got preg. with my 1st son) Over 6 years!!! and I got rid of it forever in 11 weeks!! Thank keeps me knowing that this was all worth it.
keep up the good work, Jennifer
Hello! We had surgery the same day and started at almost the same weight so this will really mean something to you. First of all you should be ecstatic that you have lost so much weight!! That is an astonishing number in only 3 months! I envy you because I can't wait until I get to 245! That's the weight I was when I met my husband. I've lost "only" 45 lbs and I'm very happy with that because they're gone forever. I'm a slow loser, but I don't complain because it's coming off all the same.
I wanted to yell at you, but believe me I understand where you're coming from. I started to get disappointed because of my slow loss but I told myself that I cannot do that because without this tool I probably would have gained 45 lbs and not lost them. I feel great already with the changes in my body and I can't believe it's just going to get better.
Now that you know you're in the higher range of us "Losers" please be happy with your accomplishments. I try to take one day at a time and realize that if I hadn't had this surgery, time would pass be by without my losing any weight.
Now go out and celebrate!!

Hi Barb,
I am 10 weeks out and i have lost 46 pounds I am a slow loser You have to look at it this way its only been 3 months and you lost close to 100 pounds I think that is pretty fast. Have you ever lost that much on a "diet " that you have tried in that little time. The weight did not appear over night (even though it feels like it did) and it will not disappear over night. Just hang in there it seems like it is taking forever to come off becasue we are waiting for this miracle to wake up and be fit and slim but the reality is that we have to wait a little while . At the rate you are going by the summer you willl be skinny minny!!! Just hang in there !!! we can do it!!!! you can email me if you like [email protected]
Hello there!
I'm 14 weeks out. I had my Fobi Pouch surgery on October 3rd. I have my 3 month visit tomorrow (a little late).
I have lost 68 pounds since surgery. I've been on a bit of a stall for the past 2 weeks, losing only a pound or two. I've been losing inches this whole time that I didn't lose weight. I know it's only a plateau and I'm not getting frustrated. I know it's only temporary. (Of course I keep looking at the scale for the plateau to be over, but I'm not totally stressing it yet.)
Your loss is phenomenal. I think it's better than normal, actually. I'd worry if you lost it any faster than that. Be nice to yourself. It's going away, really.
