Hey all my fellow October people'z, if your not already 3 months out we all are almost 3 months out, so far everything is great ive lost 72 lbs since Oct 10th and everything is all good, i just love buying clothes now or even just wearing my old clothes from like years n years ago. Okay i have a problem, and its a bad problem, so i think it is. Every single night say like a couple of hours before bed. Im getting this craving and i just need to eat everything i see ? aghhhhh !!!!!!!! why ? I had this same problem before surgery but i overcame it, and was able to control it but now its back. I drink lots of liquids thinking its just that im thirsty but still no sucess. Any of you out there have the same problem ? or any of you have suggestions ? I really need to stop this bad habbit. On a good note ive been walking an hour a day and lift weights 3x a week. But this craving right before bed is uncontrollable. Well i know i can control it but its just soooo darn hard. Well thnx for reading this n take care all

Try making a fruit smoothee real thick. It tastes sinfull but is actual good for you and may cahm you cravings. I add my protien mix, some splenda to a little water,a cup of frozen fruit and a handful of ice. I find it helps me with my cravings for sweets. and I am usually full afterwards. If not try to keep busy, Good luck, Deb 392/316/180???

Hi, congrats on your loss, that's awesome! I still eat a snack [yes, the dreaded snack] before bed. It's something I've always done and just need to do. I too find myself hungry at night even after a day of eating and drinking. Just went to my 3 month post-op and my doc's rules are no rules. He says don't count grams or calories just eat well balanced, small portioned meals. What a relief, took the pressure off and I feel better not consumed with counting grams all day. Do you allow yourself something at night? If not , maybe it's that feeling of desperation of thinking you "can't" so you "want". I like popcorn in the evening, also helps me stay regular, or a fat/sugar free ice cream bar, or hard pretzels. Good luck , hope I could help. 215/173/125

You are doing GREAT!!! I have the same problem, nighttime munchies, arent they brutal?? I agree with everyone else's suggestions- I have LOTS of smoothies, mine are 1/2 c OJ (Tropicana low sugar), 4 or 5 frozen whole strawberries, 1 scoop Isopure protein powder and 3 ice cubes. It's plenty sweet enough, so I dont add any kind of sweetener, and it helps when I have the muchies!!! I like sugar free fruit bars, too, I dont think popsicles are filling enough so I got the frozen fruit bars... Good job and good luck! Rebecca 227/172/130

This has happened to me every now and then. If I am in a sweet mood, I do the shake/smoothie. I like the Unjury Chocolate with skim milk, a piece of banana, 1 Splenda and lots of ice. Put it in my Magic Bullet and it is delicious. Reminds of a frozen Chocolate Banana. If I am in a salty mood, I do a single serving bag of popcorn. I haven't been able to eat a whole bag yet. Or I will have an ounce of cashews. Also, Quaker makes these Q-Smart snack bars that have 3g of Impact Carbs, 10g of Protein, 12 Vitamins & Minerals and 0g of Trans Fat. It is 120 calories if that matters to you. I like both the Cranberry Almond and the Chocolate Peanut Butter. Hope that helps. Loretta

Hi Robert, First off, congratulations on the weight loss. WTG! My night cravings did not stop after surgery, either. I have a snack every night, about 2 hours after dinner. If I stay up too late, I get hungry again and that really bugs me. A small piece of thin lunch meat will satisfy me if that happens. Sometimes I have a piece of fruit or a piece of cheese. Other nights if I want something sweet, I'll have a sugar free Creamsicle or Fudgesicle. I have made smoothies on occasion, but I usually end up making too much and wasting half of it. Last night I fell asleep before snack, but that's a very rare occasion. You are definitely not alone in this craving at night thing. The only thing I would suggest is to limit the "things you see" to things that you can eat without guilt. I don't think this is as bad a problem as you thought, though. Make healthy choices. You're doing a great job. Cheryl 240/173/140

Congrats on the weightloss, I also have the night munchy problem. I knit instead of eat at night though and it seems to help. If it doesnt by chance I make popcorn for the kids, have a few pieces and then knit some more Kim
