Hi Dennis, That happened to me for 2 weeks straight . I would drop to 268 then go to 271 and I fluctated between those three pounds I think that was my stall but I lost inches. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think you are about to hit a stall. Nikki B

Dennis, I think a fluctuation between 1-3 pounds is normal for anyone, whether non-op or post-op. Its seems frustrating I know but hang in there. I was told it is our bodies way of catching up to all the changes that are going on. Kelli

That is the story of my life since surgery. It is soooo frustrating but I am glad that I am not alone - I truly was beginning to feel as though I was the only one for whom surgery was not going to work. I have lost 50 pounds but it has been a fight - pound for pound. I gained 2 pounds at new years and it took me a week to get it to come back off. Shannon

I use the little weight gains as excuses to throw my temper tantrums and kick the scale into the closet and call it names then usually in a day or so i drop a few more pounds Kim

Twinnie...RELAX....it's very normal...I've even gained 2 pounds in one day sometimes, remember the scales aren't 100% accurate, and it's noraml. If you eat salty foods you retain water and weigh more. Celia

Dennis, I know exactly what you mean. I am going through this right now. I am gaining and losing the same 2 pounds. I just think my body is trying to hang on to it - but i am not going to let it. Sammie
