POLL: Do you have more energy since surgery???
Before my surgery my house was always a mess and yet I thought I worked in the house all day long. Since one month out I have so much
energy I don't stop. I never sit and watch TV I am always cleaning and
doing projects I put off. Just wondering what everyone else is like.
Thanks Jane

Hey Jane-
I am AMAZED at the amount of energy. My house too was a mess and now I can't stand it and I do something about it! And if my hubby and son mess it up again...well, let's just say they hear about it!!
Keep it up because it just gets better and EASIER! What a sense of accomplishment and satisifaction.
I have a lot more energy too, but I'm with Debra....I don't waste it cleaning! I'm a born slob and I live with slobs. When we cant walk through a room without stepping on something, then we know it's time to clean.
I work out a lot, I go shopping a lot more (gotta buy clothes for my shrinking body!), I go to the library or bead store a lot, but it seems I never have time to read or bead anymore. I watch Tivo in the evenings, then I post here and go to bed. Boring life, but I like it.
The thing that blows my mind is besides energy, I find I'm able to do a lot more because my feet don't ache as much. The weight loss has really helped.

I am like the energizer bunny when I go work out!
I have started cleaning more around the house too, although I HATE doing it, especially since no one else in the house does and they are all slobs! But I love a clean house and my goal is to have it looking spic and span by spring!! With all this energy, I think I can do it!
Ooohh I am so jealous of you all!
I was looking forward to the energy boost I was expecting from the surgery and it has yet to appear! I have a difficult time just getting out of bed and dressed in the morning. I do hope this will pass soon, I can't wait to have the energy you all have!
Congrats to you all!
Ann
No, I don't seem to have more energy; from that standpoint I feel about the same. But lots of other things have improved dramatically! I never used to watch much TV anyway; between my job and my children, I don't have a lot of leisure time for TV or books.
I do notice, though, that I can *do* more with my kids. Like dancing together, or playing on the floor, those kinds of things are easier because I'm less bulky.
