I watched a program today that was a Continuing Medical Education program for physicians and the topic today was Bariatric Surgery. It was very informative and interesting. They had 3 top physicians discussing the pros and cons, who are good candidates, what to do to make it a success, etc. For the biggest success, they said WLS patients should always remember their weapons, which they spelled WEPNS. And this is what it stands for Water, Exercise, Protein, No snacking, and Supplements. I thought that was pretty cool. Marcia

Marcia- I watched that program yesterday too! The info was really good. I wish I would have taped it, because I want my hubby to watch it. He REALLY needs to have the WLS done, but he is very apprehensive about it because he's never had ANY kind of surgery before. He thinks he can lose it on his own, which only shows he is in complete denial.
