stalling

Think of it this way, weight loss is not straight downhill, it is down a little, then plateau (maybe even just for a couple of days, maybe for a few weeks), down a little more, etc. Don't worry about it. Just make sure you stick to your eating and exercise plan. Marcia

Hi Kim, For a while, I thought I was the only one with this problem and the more I read the more I realized I am one of many. I stall about every 23 to 30 lbs. I'm up to 60 lb. weight loss and I am currently at a stall and have been for about 8 days. Last time I stalled it was about 10 days. Someone said that our bodies adjust differently to the weight loss but one way that we are the same is that we stall. The difference is in how we stall. So I try not to freak out and think that this is the end of my weight loss. Somedays it does get the best of me but I have decided to up my exercise and see if that helps. Loretta
