Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal
If you like oatmeal, I suggest you try this stuff. I tried it a month ago and didn't really care for it, but today, I made it again and put a packet of splenda in it and it's really good. It comes in cinnamon (that's what I have) and Banana Bread. If you can eat a whole packet, its 160 cals., 6 g. of fiber and 7 g of protein. Oh, and each serving has 2 servings of whole grains. I can only eat about 1/2 the packet though.

I eat the cinnamon ones whenever I'm in the mood for hot cereal. I think they're yummy. I've never seen another flavor in our grocery store, so I'll have to check out another to find the banana bread flavor. I love banana bread.
I can eat the whole packet, but what else is new? I don't why I can eat so much more than everyone else, I just can. I read on the salad post that someone got a MCD's salad and only finished 1/6 of it. I can eat the whole thing and still not be overly full! If I didn't use fitday to keep track of calories I would be so screwed.

I like it, too. The store near me has both flavors. I can usually eat the whole packet. I am just so used to using water to make instant oatmeal (a college-days staple), that it hadn't occured to me until today to use some skim milk instead. I had tried adding some plain protein powder, but I could still taste it. I am going to try adding milk and having it for dinner tonight. Yum.

When I went in for my 3 mos check up we also talked about the oatmeal > Doc K told me if I really wanted to make it super healthy to add a tablespoon of flaxseeds and a scoop of protein. I tried it and you cant even tell it has the extras in it. thought you all might find that interesting. He also said the new slimfast low carb shakes are a great choice for on the go shakes. I tried the vanilla and they are yummy
