no motivation!!!!
You are so not the only one!
The weather and the holidays (and other personal issues, lol) have conspired against me lately too, and I have lost my motivation. I don't even want to eat anything anymore... now THAT is unlike me. LOL
We must force ourselves to get back on track, with excersize AND eating right! It's a new year, a new chance and a new you!
Take care of you!

nikki i have days like this alot. Let me just say thata i had a picture of me before my surgery at 242lbs, i have hung this on the fridge and i put one on my entertainment center and i have one on my key chain....everytime i look at it i get disgusted....i have come to far(48lbs gone so far) to let my eatin habits take back over my life. My daughter is my inspiration, she wants to go horse bak riding with me in the spring.....i just love the way i feel now.............but somedays i think what the hell have i done. So i go look at the pics..........then i get motivated!!!!! HANG IN HERE WITH ALL OF US.....if you ever need anything email me.............vickie r.
I know exactly what you're talking about! I used to be a gymaholic...but I haven't been in 3 weeks! I tend to want to graze at night, too! I've turned to go old fashioned will power for that one, though...just gotta keep myself away from the cabinet. I do slip from time to time, though. AND, OMG, did I overeat last night! It makes me feel soooo sick! I HAVE to stop doing that...but food still tastes so good to me. Nikki, we just have to be strong, girl!
Hey Girl, I have a hard time getting motivated to go to the gym too, especially when the weather is cold and gloomy like it is now, but I keep picturing myself with that NICER body that I've been dreaming of and it helps that I just bought myself a new mp3 player to take to the gym (plus I love to get OUT of the house away from the soon to be EX)!!
Do what I do, promise yourself you'll just aim for 30 mins, three times a week, that's easy enough to do right? Before you know it you will be feeling soooo good that you'll want to go more often. That's what happens to me anyway!
As for food, I have trouble eating anything so I can't help you there. I'm sure I would eat if I could, but suddenly nothing appeals or agrees with me... sooooo that's one problem I'm not having at the moment.
Hang in there!!

Nikki, most of us are going through this. I found out I can eat sugar as much as I want and I'm fine... so now comes the will power part. What has been working for me is to go to fitday.com and log EVERYTHING I eat, if it's a hershey miniature, I log it in, a cracker too. That way I can see how much all that junk is affecting my diet in calories, carbs and fat.
Taking my MP3 player to the gym full of workout music motivates me a lot, it also give me energy.
We can do it!!! you'll see.
2006 is our year!!
