Just a reminder of the choices we need to make
I was reading Angela's profile and came across this Poem, I thought it would help us refocus our efforts to start this new year off with healthier decisions.
Remember WHY we did this.
WLS Poem
Do you have cookies in your car?
Are those chips not very far?
Is that soda in your glass?
Did it come from a drive-thru fast?
Was WLS your choice to do?
Or did someone force you to?
If surgery was what you chose,
Why are you still doing all of those?
Success begins with wise choices you make,
Don't let noncompliance be your mistake,
The surgery you had was to assist your change,
Your compliance is for success long range.
So think before you decide to cheat,
Remember the goals you want to meet.
For surgery is not something you were forced to do,
It was what you wanted for a healthier you.

Debra,
Thanks for the reminder. I hope alot of people take the time to review this message. I see posting of people stating that sugar does not make them dump. I was suprised they are trying it to see if they will dump. I prefer thinking I will, so I do not want to try. I've had something that tasted sweet and felt sick so I do not want to try something that is sugar laden. My surgery was 10/11/05. It has not been that long and I feel I am doing so good, I am not really tempted to cheat. Can you explain the numbers under your name 392/320/180? I am new to this web site and not sure what this means.
