well, i can tell you right now i am having hair loss and it is totally freaking me out i can tell you....i feel like i am not losing weight fast enough and now i have a hernia that is killing me and one dr wants to do surgery and my surgeon said no way until my year anniversary. i have now lost 63 lbs but i just don't see it...i am down approximately 2 sizes but i still don't see it. i also don't think i am eating near enough protein and i feel totally indifferent to food...i still get hungry though and i have had sugar and did get the dumping syndrome when i had a little bit of blue bell ice cream so no more of that for me....i just kinda want to know how everyone else feels and if they are losing their hair OR AM I THE ONLY ONE!!!!!!

You're doing great. Sorry about your hernia. As for my progress, referring to your inquiry, I have seen very little hair in the shower when I step out. It's nothing to get nervous about but I know it will get worse if I don't get more protein in. I'm hoping to get upgraded to all foods (I'm still on soft foods) and it will be easier to get it in. I can't stand the shakes. I do not get hungry very often and I have little interest in food. I have not strayed from my allowable foods and don't intend to cause I don't want to dump and don't want to find out I don't dump. I have lost 50lbs. thus far and am very satisfied with my weight loss. I don't compare myself to others because some loss fast, some slow. I'm happy with what I get cause if not for this surgery, I would weigh more than what I started at. Please don't worry about your progress. You're doing great. Just hang in and it will get better and better.

Hey Cheryl- you asked the very question that I was thinking about! So far I have lost about 54 lbs- that includes a 5 lb. gain and loss from the last 2 weeks as a result of some bad carb choices.... I have not lost any hair, however I get in anywhere from 50- 85 gr of protein daily through shakes and meat, mainly chicken, tuna and pork chops on the Forman Grill! For the most part I try to eat only proteins at every meal and green veggies for dinner, maybe for lunch depending on how I feel. For the last 2 weeks I started craving bread, and a baked potato like a mad woman- I indulged, thus the 5 lb. fluxuation. I have not had any major problems, I don't tolerate natural sugar in juices well at all; I sometimes experience a lightheadness from raw fruit...in the grand scheme of things this has been a wonderful experience! Good luck to you, Towana

Hello everyone! I had my hair done end of November and the same lady has been doing my hair since I was 14 and she said she could really tell a difference in how much hair I have lost. I notice when I flat iron my hair. I am down about 40lbs but down about three sizes and one cup size already. The loose skin is already appearing no matter how much I work out and use moisturiser. Oh well it's still completely worth it. Hope everyone has a great day and keep up the great work!

63 lbs, thats great!! I've only lost 36lbs, and I am starting to get discouraged I know we shouldn't compare, but it's kinda hard not to. I am losing some hair as well. I average 60g of protein, and take at least 64oz of water, and I exercise 4 days per week. Whats wrong with me Congratulations to you and well wishes for your continued success KElli

Hi all and Happy New Year! I haven't had any hair loss yet, knock on wood, I'm 10 weeks out and down 50.5. Still having trouble getting in all my protien and I'm eating way to many carbs right now but I'll get back on course. I don't have enough hair to lose anyway!
