Soda Alternative
I just wanted to share this with you all. My nephew got a soda making machine (some of you may be familiar with this) for Christmas (he's a sodaholic). I've noticed that all the machine does is add carbonation and there is a syrup that you add to the water to make it soda. The sodas made this way have less than half the sugar (about 8-9 grams per 8 oz.)They also have diet and caffeine-free flavors that are made with Splenda. Well I used to be a sodaholic as well and have not touched a soda for several months. As I watched him make this, my wheels started turning and thought what if I added the syrup to plain water? It would be just flat soda right? My nephew gave me a couple of samples he had and I tried it. It was a cream soda flavor and tasted great! It was sweet, but flat soda always is. Anyway, if you're interested here's the website www.sodaclubusa.com and click on re-order supplies. They're about $3-4 per bottle that makes 12 liters each. (each liter I finally found out is a little more than a quart)
Anyway, I thought I would share this with you because I love when you all share new things you find that makes this journey more pleasant or easier!
