Saliva... too much!
OK, this is a strange question. Last night I ate some fresh cooked crab for dinner. Unfortunately, it did not sit well in my stomach and I felt uncomfortably full for a couple of hours. During that time, my mouth was watering a lot, and the need to swallow constantly seemed to contribute to my feeling of nausea.
Unfortunately, my mouth continues to water a lot today, it's like my saliva production is in overdrive. It's making me feel sick...or maybe feeling sick is making me produce too much saliva.
Anyone else experience this?

Spent the first 6 weeks after surgery like this. Drooling like a St. Bernard. The more drooling, the better chance there was gonna be some barfing. Sorry to be so graphic, but it is "normal." It means that what you ate either didn't agree with your new belly, or you ate too much at one time. Mine was because I had a significant amount of swelling and not much room for anything!

I get that whenever I eat too fast and don't chew enough. My nose runs too. It's all very annoying. It usually ends with an episode of preceeded by a lot of pain.

I get that, too, and I haven't yet figured out how to stop it. It's all saliva and nose-fulls and even sneezing. Sneezing?! That one's weird. Anyhow, it all leads up to barfing. (Tho sometimes a good fit of the sneezes does the job...)
Worse, since my default position when nauseated is to drink water, I end up barfing all the food PLUS all the water. When will I learn?
Good luck.
