...I broke the stall......the extra protein helps...my first goal was met...I wanted to be in the 240's by the time I went back to the doctor next Wed...I did it...249.6...but hey I will take it...I have not seen this weight in about 4 or 5 years...so I am happy.....I also figured out I am losing on a average about 5 pounds a week...not to shabby...figure out your average weekly weight and look at that way...the scale is not human we are...I figure if the 5 pounds a week keep up...I will be at goal before the year that they say it takes to take the total weight off...so lets not keep beating our heads against the wall...and for us for taking our health to heart and doing this surgery.... Deb...we can do it...also I need to get this weight off faster, as I an an oldie, but a goodie...and don't have that many more years to waste on lugging an obese body around...I want to be fit, trim and healthy for my grand daughter... Dennis

Yee Ha! I'm glad to hear the protein boost helps, I am still trying to up my protein, but it's tough to get it all in! 5 pounds a week is awesome! You should be proud! Congratulations! Ann

The night before I broke the stall...I got in 106 grams of protein as far as Fit Day says...also my water intake was 93oz. of water...I just chug it down...and I have no problem with the other end when I drink a lot of water....so good luck...the bottom line is we will all lose...some faster then others, but by the end of the year...it will all even out about the same...hopefull Dennis

I don't quite get it... how do you have a stall if you are loosing 5 pounds a week on average? My understanding is a real "stall" is several weeks without any weight loss... Just curious.

I average all the weight that I have lost from the very beginning...to now...and the average weight loss is 5 pounds...in the beginning I was losing much more then that...and some weeks I don't lose at all...that is why I say average...in the long haul term Dennis
