salads
Kim-
I wasn't able to eat salads/veggies at first, but now that I am 10 weeks out, I do pretty well with them. I had a side salad from McD's last night which was just basically lettuce and a couple of grape tomatos- not very filling, but it tastes good! I can also eat raw carrots, broccoli and cauliflower if I chew them up well (a little ranch dressing helps!). I think it's just "live and learn" after this surgery! Some things are tolerated very well, while others can make you sick as a dog- there's really no rhyme or reason to it!
My advice would be to try some veggies, chew them well, and see what happens! Good luck!
I think the people of this board will tell you some can eat it and some cant. I would say give it a try. Remember though that alot of dressings have alot of fat so be careful not to add alot of unnecessary calories. good luck and let us know how it goes. I am 7 weeks out and still havent tried it yet.
