Hi Dennis, Sounds like me last week. I weighed 208, 208, 208.5, 208..... So I stopped weighing myself for a few days and whoo**** just started to come off this week. Suddenly this morning I'm at 202. I am justifieably insane though, I love to get on the scale each morning. I know we aren't supposed to but it is not a habit I was able to give up. I gave up eating all the time, soda, wine, and ice cream. I can only give up so many things a year Keep going, the stall will brea****ep us updated.

Congradulations on your weight loss and breaking the stall... for you Dawn..I know..but I can't seem to get away from that dam scale...I know I am losing inches, as my jeans are falling off, espcially in the Butt area...take care and this is a ride of a life time...like my dear wife says...it took forever to reach the high weight, it will take a tiny bit of time to go to the goal weight......Dennis

Maybe it's the "watched pot" theroy??? If it is I'm the biggest hypocrite on earth, as I'm on my scale several times/day. I was having bit of a stall (over a week) at 250lbs. I remember that Vi wrote that a way to break a stall was to try to up your protein, so Friday all I ate was a protein bar, a small salad, and a bunch of meatballs. I got like 105 gms of protein for the day. I lost 3 lbs that night. Maybe there's something to it???? From the front, I don't think I look smaller at all (stupid panni), but like you my butt is disappearing. Is it possible to lose 47 lbs in your butt??? Sheryl 292/245/1??

"but like you my butt is disappearing. Is it possible to lose 47 lbs in your butt???" Haha- that made me laugh!! And yes, I do think you can lose it all in the butt... or any one place... but at some point it has to even out! (I hope!!) Congrats on breaking your stall... I am still stuck at 250, myself... I will have to try the protein trick! Ann

Went through a similar problem. Plateaued for 10 days, was so depressed. Felt like everyone was watching me fail. Took advice from the boards and upped my protein- it worked! I had trouble with breakfast- everything made me sick, so now I drink a protein drink [zone perfect] every morning and since then I've begun to lose again, slower than the beginning, but I'll take it! I also found tuna in oil helped. The oil makes it easier to eat and I think the little bit of fat in it helps too. Kinda moves things along, ya'know?! Hope this helps, good luck-it WILL come off!!
