Are you getting enough ?
I'm wondering if anyone else is having the problems I am? I know i'm not gettting enough protein maybe 30 g if i'm lucky fluids are around 32 oz.
Alot of food just doesn't set well with me or doesn't taste good or I take a few bites and feel full. I don't seem to ever feel hungry either it just seems so hard to eat anymore. So is anyone else have this happening?

I have to agree with you- it seems impossible to get in enough fluid/protein/calories! I also get about 30 g protein and about 20-30 oz of water- and on a good day 500 calories!
I fear being dehydrated and ending up back in the hospital (this happened to a friend of mine who had surgery last Oct.)
So I do the very best I can, but there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day for 'sipping'. LOL
Many things don't sit right in my pouch either, and I get full so quick!
I am glad to know someone else has the same issues, but I do hope we can both get past it so we can be healthier!
Good Luck!
Ann
I'm in the same boat as you and Ann. For me to get enough I really have to force myself and that's so hard!
I'm sure it will get better though. I hear people who are 6 months or a year post op saying that they long for the days when they felt the way we do now, so I try not to stress over it too much! All the protein drinks I've tried make me want to gag lately but I bought this really gross liquid protein that give me 15 grams in 2 tablespoons and I'll take that at night to boost my protein intake.
It's by TwinLab's and it's called Cher-Amino Protein.
I bought it for half price on line at vitacost.com:
http://www.vitacost.com/TwinlabCherAminoProteinLiquid/searchby-PN/searchtext-twinlab%20protein
It has no fat and 5 gms of carbs which is the fructose (sugar).
It tastes like crap, and is very thick, but I take the 2 tablespoons and swallow fast and it's over and done with. It's better than dealing with the torture of having to drink some of the other nasty protein drinks I've dealt with. :gag:
