Goals & how to get to it??
Hi everyone,
I am finally feeling normal again. I had my surgery on Oct. 4th but ended up with a stricture. I had my final dilation this last Wednesday and I'm feeling so much better. I hope you all have been feeling this great the whole time. No more vomiting for me yeah.
I was wondering what everyone's goals, nutritional, weight, exercise, etc. were for January 1st. I myself would like to be at 199 & be getting all of my protein in. I'm really good about getting in my supplements & water and now food I exercise 4-5x a week for 1 - 1 1/2 hours. And I feel like that is enough for now.

Wow, sorry to hear about the stricture, but I'm glad you are feeling better!
I'm 5'10" tall so my goal for Jan. 1st is to be UNDER 300 (Can't wait to see 299)! If I saw 199, I would be almost at goal! Can't wait for THAT DAY!
I'm at 301.6 right now. My heaviest was 422 (gulp) 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my 7 year old. Shortly before surgery I was 354 lbs and the last weight before surgery was 335, so I have been all over the place!
As for exercise, I was working out 5-6 times a week for about 4 years (that's how I kept off the weight I'd lost 5 years ago) but I've slacked off and now I'm trying to get back into it by going almost every day. This week was rough since I wasn't feeling well, and of course now we're freezing here in NY! But I am slowly getting better with my goals.
Still struggling to get in enough food and water (what a switch) but I'm working on that too! My ultimate goal would be to get to about 185 - 190 which I think is reasonable for 5' 10", but I'll be happy anywhere in that area!!

My goals for Jan 1st are to be below 300 and to be doing all of my exercise (3x a week at Curves). I've gotten veeeery lazy over the past couple of weeks and I really need to get it together. You would think having a Lieutenant at work who's always on my butt about working out would help. You'd be wrong. lol

My goal is to be at 300 lbs by January 1st but this was a rough week for me. I've been side lined with an upper respiratory infection that put me on my butt. This was a bad eating week for me too. I've been drinking juice with a little more sugar that it's suppose to have. So I plan to get back into gear with my exercising and eating. I've been out of vitamins so I will start back taking those to keep me fully of energy. I also need to increase my intake of water. My ultimate goal is to be 175/180. I have no desire to be skinny. I want to be thick and healthy. We shall see. Good luck!

My goal is to weigh 188lbs, it has been so long since I weigh less than 190lbs. I am at 194 now so I'm almost there..!!
I also want to wear a size 14 jeans, 14 sounds like you are "normal". I want my tummy to shrink some more. But my biggest goal of all is that I want to learn good eating habits and keep them for life.

My goal for Jan 8th is to be down to 199. I weighed about the same as you at surgery but have not lost as much so far. I am down to 215 and been there for over a week. But I have not had the vomiting or problem with eating.
I usually get in the protein but I need to work on the supplements and water. I have not yet started an actual exercise program. I would say I am very active in that I have lots of outdoor chores associated with feeding animals etc...but I know I need to be doing the sustained type exercise.
