How is everyone? I went to weigh myself today and I found out that I weigh 250.3 and I was so happy because when I went to my mother in law's house, her scale said 303.4, I was , , and . I could not believe my eyes when I looked at her scale, and it is digital, go figure! I was kind of scared to check it today because I thought her scale was right and that I gained the weight back, I am so relieved that her scale was wrong! I have lost a total of 88.4 pounds so far and it hasn't been even two months yet! I am so grateful that I have lost all that weight and I am looking forward to losing some more!

Hi Diamond...you are doing so good...I had the surgery the day after you and have lost about the same weight...which is a lot...the body has to play catch up.....it has to catch up with the weight you have lost...but I bet we are losing inches in a big way, my pants are falling off me...and don't forget you have lost 35 pounds forever...I upped my protein and added more food...protein of course...and the pounds are starting to drop again. If you don't eat enough, the body goes into starve mold, and tries to protect itself and stops the weight for a while.......so make sure you are getting the protein and water in...Dennis

I'm so excited for you! Never let the scale intimidate you. Do not ever let it control how you feel! If it doesn't say what you hoped it would, accept it. This battle will be full of ups and downs (hopefully the downs outweigh the ups!). I'm so happy that you are well on your way to being healthier and happier. CONGRATULATIONS!

Marie- That's great- 88.4 pounds is equal to a small person! As far as scales, my doctor's scale is always 6 pounds higher than mine at home- it's much better for my self-esteem to go with the number on my scale....LOL Congratulations and keep it up!
