almost 5 weeks out...is this about right
HI, I will be 5 weeks out tomorrow and finally today got on Fitday.com and started tracking my food. I have been doing it on my own but this is so much easier.
ok here goes. So far it is 1:15 pm and I have had the following
2oz egg beaters
1 slice sf bread (this is only my 2nd time doing bread. it is going ok)
2 slice rf cheese
2 oz boiled chicken
it equals - 260 cals
8 grams fat
16 carbs
33 protein
also half my vitamins and 20 oz water
I usually spend the rest of the afternoon drinking from 30 min. after lunch to about 5pm
then I eat another small meal and then a small meal/snack around 8pm
Does this sound about what others are doing? I just wanted to know if I was going right.

We have the same date...hope all is well with you at this point..it sure is a major adjustment!!!!
My doc says I should be getting about 700 calories rite now...I exercise an hour a day sometimes more...but they explained that if I don't get more calories then my body will think I am starving and I won't lose anything....it sure it tough...but using fitday keeps me accountable.

I also am getting in about 600-750 in calories depending on how much I work out. Also, 33 grams of protein seems low. Is this what your nutrionist OK'd? Mine has me on atleast 60grams, I get most of this from protein drinks with carb countdown milk. I also get in about 64 oz - 70 oz. of water a day. I'm a little further out than you but I've been able to get the water in for a long time.
