Unable to eat...nauseous all the time
Has this happened to anyone else? I am a little over 6 weeks post-op and I have a constant low grade nausea. I don't vomit but my stomach is always upset. I try to get down a little something but no matter what I try and eat it makes me sick to my stomach. Nothing appeals to me. Even water is making my stomach ache...is this normal? or is it time to call my doctor?

Sorry you are having issues! I had this problem at 4 weeks out. I would call your doctor. My doctor upped my prevacid to twice a day and gave me another medication that I took for 10 days. This was because he said that something I ate caused an inflamation in the stomach. Since taking the 2nd medication (for 10 days) and upping the prevacid to twice a day, I have not had any problems since. But call your doctor and explain it to him, maybe he can tell you what you can do to help you out.

Hey Patti,
If this is an ongoing thing you defantly need to talk to your Dr. I am 5 weeks out and have had a few days where I felt that way but I feel it is due to still traing myself how to eat with my new pouch on those days I think it was due to eating to fast or not chewing enough. Hope your doc can help.
