Hi A Droppin BBW 4Life! I had my surgery the same day that you did and I am grateful that I had the surgery and a second chance in life! I can breathe a lot better and I no longer have pains in my back nor shortness of breath! I am sorry that you haven't lost any weight recently, but that will soon pass! What are you allowed to eat? I am allowed to eat everything except sweets! I found out the hard way that I can't tolerate Won Ton Soup like I used to, I had that last night and I got sick! We all go through this depression, and we have each other to rely on, so never give up and never give in! You will get through this, just like we all will get through the rough times!
I hurt more in my back now for some reason. I had an obstruction and a hernia surgery on the 2 week mark after my RNY. I am very greatful for the surgery. I fought long and hard to get it BUT I never in a million years thought it was gonna be this hard. I can tolerate small amounts of sugar like about 4 oz of soda. Thats abuot the only thing that settles my tummy. I dont drink it alot just when the kids have one. Good luck!
I'm sorry about your fiance and how you're feeling about food. I'm finding that a lot of this is your attitude. You have to find a way to find good things about what you are eating. If you can eat 2 bites, wait an hour and eat 2 more. Don't force yourself to eat things that you don't like. Think about your favorite things and try to come up with a way that you can eat them. Like with pizza, order one with lots of meats and eat the toppings off of a piece. Ice cream, try sugar free (I am loving my sugar free creamsicles). Come up with some kind of plan for Christmas or you are going to have a miserable one. On Thanksgiving, I ate in the other room. My husband and brother followed me and I wasn't overwhelmed by everyone eating like crazy. Oh, and while everyone was fixing their plates (we do a buffet), I was helping my kids get theirs. I was last in line and there was no one there to question what I was getting. I was able to try a small bite of everything that I wanted.

It just sucks ya know? I mean I hate cold food and I dont like to have to reheat it. I usually dont fix more than 4 ounces. It takes about 30 mins to eat that. I just get bored I am a very impatient person I have too much to do and no time to do it. i have tried sugar free creamsicles but they didnt agree with me. I have done the pizza but only got a bite in the cheese (mozzeralla(SP) doesnt agree with me well. I tried a little of everything on Thanksgiving. My family cooks and I am in awe at how much they eat Mind you they are skinny people Not many people on my mothers side are overweight. Good luck and glad to hear youre doing well.
