Do you feel you eat too much??
I've been feeling I eat too much... and now that I can eat a little bit more I feel like I'm cheating or doing something wrong...
I used to only be able to get 2 tablespoons in, and now I can eat a lot more..
Today I went to Trader Joes and they were giving out some samples of Phillo Pastry with mushrooms inside (yummy) and I ate the sample...I know I should not be eating pastries but I just ate it...and now I'm scared I'm going to get all my bad eating habits back...
I do feel like I'm eating too much sometimes but then I make sure I put it on my journal that I keep on line and when it adds up all the calories (including the carbs I may slip past the lips) I'm not eating as much as I think. Just relax and don't worry about it. You tried it......you satisfied the curiosity.........and you can now move past it! In your past you probably would have ate the sample and went back for more or went and purchased more of the pastries. But you didn't so that's a sign that your habits are/have changed. But I understand how you feel. Like I said we're in this together and we'll beat those bad habits we used to have together.

I know I can eat, way, to much. I worry about it a lot.
I cannot help but wonder about the size of my pouch, I think the Dr must have given me a 6 or 8 oz pouch. I can eat a half of can of refried beans or creamed soups easy and not feel full. I have not had the problems other folks have had with over eating or up chucking. I have to wonder :-l
I am also wondering if I will lose any more weight, I droped 52 lb in a month and now it has been over a week and the scale has not moved. Am I eating to much? I do not think so. Maybe?

That's the way I think -- no way am I even close to eating what I used to eat!! I have to lose, as long as I keep my protein up. And I eat more frequently -- like 6 times a day. My body is definitely protesting and now with winter, is all screwed up. Like you want to drop pounds not hold onto them them? As in every year since forever!
I know it is protesting the loss of 49 lbs in 7 weeks. I have to really bundle up to keep warm now!!
I thought my volume has gone up too. But then the swelling in the pouch has reduced too, so it only makes sense. And yes I can down more soft or liquid foods, because, I think they move through more quickly. The foods I really have to chew, like meat and veggies are really not filling up my plate. It just looks like more food. I have to realize I am full on so much less. 1/2 a protein bar, the topping only on a slice of pizza (my first and last treat for the month!!), and 4 chicken wings. I thought that was a lot -- but how much meat is on a chicken wing: 35 calories each with 7 grams of protein!
The thanksgiving dinner/WLS style was even more than I had -- how crazy is that? And I was full!!
I think this is a stage we are at -- and thankfully we can all share our concerns!!
