Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!
B--Egg with turkey chorizo
L & D---turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, & corn bread
I had a just one mini bite of everything except turkey which I had 3 bites, then I started to feel really full and sick. I still don't feel too good...I think I didn't chew a piece of turkey enough & it feels stuck...
I MISS PIGGING OUT!!!!!!
B - Hot tea
L- 2 ozs. mashed potatoes
D - Yogurt
Did not do well today at all and didn't do well yesterday as well. Pouchy is real grouchy so I'm really watching it. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I really think taking all my meds fills up my pouch and food becomes hard to do. Maybe I'm wrong but it sure feels like the pills fill me up and just sit there. I drink hot tea but it doesn't always work. I'll be so happy when I get off some of these meds.

breakfast-none
lunch-1/4 cup chopped walnuts, 4 mushroom slices, 2 baby toasts (like melba) w/salmon spread
dinner-3 or 4 bites of turkey, 1 bite of green bean salad, 1 bite sweet potatoes with tiny pat of butter(yuck), 2 small bites of fresh cranberries w/splenda, 4 spoonfulls of veggie soup (about 1 hr before dinner), a very small salad (OMG it was sooo good), 1 asparagus stalk (very well cooked)
dessert-1 piece baklava, 2 bites pumpkin pie made with splenda (didn't eat crust) eaten about 1.5 hours after dinner.
water-not nearly enough. had less than a glass of wine after dessert.
I'm pretty happy with my food intake for the day. The bakalava was the worst thing I ate, and it was a small piece. I was afraid it might make me dump, but I was totally fine. The wine was for family toasts "what are we thankful for" type thing.

Hey hon, you did fantastic. Sorry your Dad was being such a bummer. I find that their generation can be that way -- they forget the "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all" addage! You are doing great and this is definitely not "all for nothing". He will eat those words for Thanksgiving next year!
Here's my intake:
Breakfast: 1 eggbeater and a spoonful of corned beef has (didn't care for either one so I gave it to my son)
Lunch: 1 oz cheese
Dinner: a small piece of turkey with gravy, one spoonful of spanish rice (yum), spoonful of mashed up yams with a DOT of cranberry sauce and about 2 small spoonfuls of the yummy pumpkin cheesecake from splenda.com (didn't touch the crust)
Snack: 2 YUMMY strawberries! 2 squares of watermelon and 1 oz of cheese
OH and I took a sip of my friend Maria's wine (I stopped by her sister's house on my way home... that's where I ate the two yummy strawberries)!
