YUM, I'm with you on the chef salad! I'm dying for a ceasar salad! My co-workers had one the last time we went out to eat and I was dying to jump in their bowls! The salmon croquettes sound wonderful. I wonder where I could find something like that? Thanks for the tip! Vi

I'll send you a receipe for it. You can prepare it yourself! Keke

Vi here are two receipes for salmon patties. I got them from another website but my mom does hers almost the same way. I hope this helps. I can't think of a restaurant that makes these off hand. Good luck and talk to you later! 1 can of salmon 1 cup of corouton 2 cups of atkins baking flour 1 egg 1/3 medium onion (chop it up good) 1/2 green pepper (chop it up good) ms Dash small amount of sea salt a little pepper ok mix scope the mix in small dolpes and drop in hot vegetable oil. (olive oil is better) perform this operation like cooking hamburgers (Fry flip, until brown on both sides) this will make a large serving be perpared to share. now the topper. take all your patties and place them in a skillet with cream of mush room soup / or cream of chicken and let boil OR 1 can salmon (drain off at least half the liquid) Finely chopped onion (I like spring onions) Finely chopped bell pepper Few Tablespoons Cornmeal 1 egg I use a little milk/cream if I need to adjust the moisture....mixture shouldn't be dry. I perfer mine to be small croquets as opposed to large patties. Form patties or balls and fry in oil or spray pan with pam (spray salmon patties also so that they retain moisture) and bake.

They sound yummy, thanks a bunch! I have to admit though, I'm not much of a cook so it might take a while for me to try the recipe.

Yum, gumbo sounds like a delicious idea! I bought a chicken pot pie from Boston Market on Wednesday and ate about half of it without the crust. It was soooo good!

I hate that feeling where everything tastes the same!! It almost makes me not want to eat at all, but I heard that will pass eventually!

Hi Vi, My diet choice looks a lot like yours, but I have also tried successfully avacados, canned corned beef and canned chicken (the meat is in very tiny peices), Cream of Wheat, Malto-Meal, and Lite canned peaches and pears. I know that's not a lot different, but hope that helps a little. By the way, I'm getting some good ideas to try too by looking at replys to your post. Good subject! ~Nonna

Canned corned beef sounded good so I tried it for breakfast with an eggbeater! Thanks!
