Hey there Monica - Did a search for you and found the following info from this site: You are most likely in ketosis. When you are in ketosis, you are burning fat. It is expressed in your breath and urine. The odor is coming from the air you breathe out from your lungs. It will go away when you quit losing weight so fast. Brush your teeth often, use Listerine mouthwash and strips, chew s/f gum, and brush your tongue! It should begin to resolve as you are able to advance your diet and the initial rapid weight loss begins to slow down a little. Keep drinking the water and try Binaca for Smokers (mouth spray)...I found it at my local drug store and it was the only thing that worked for me and enabled me to maintain close relationships during this period You can also use Liquid Chlorophyll. One nice thing my support group turned me on to was peppermint oil . Available at pharmacies. 1 drop in my water bottle and it helped my breath and more importantly, it helps settle my stomach. The good news is it does go away. It's one of the annoyances that we have to deal with. BUT it's worth it. Don't get discouraged. Hope this helps some. Good Luck on your journey! Later, Nancy
