I'm 1 month post-op and am down 40+lbs. Hooray, who knew that losing 40lbs in 1 month would be great I saw my primary doctor yesterday for a followup appointment to see how my thyroid is. 1st of all, I saw him 3 weeks ago and i'm down 18lbs. I won't know the results of the thyroid in a week. He saidf i'm doing awesome and that I look good, and when I come back to see him in 2 months he may not recognize me. We both laughed at that. My highest weight in Dec.2004 was 323, now i'm 257. Not too bad. I see my surgeon on Dec. 14, for a 6 week checkup. I sure hope I can keep on losing. Although I am getting bored with the 2 oz I can eat. In 2 weeks I can start eating a bit more, although I can't hold alot in. Well all, that's all I can thinkg of to say. I know I sound stuck up ( I'm Not). Just wanted to let everyone know how I am doing. I could write a book about this, but I won't I don't want to put anyone to sleep. The only bad thing right now is that I have my period and feel yucky. I called 2 pharmacies and asked them if I could take the liquid Oxycodone I have for pain, 1 said yes and the otehr no, so I don't know what to do. I hate having cramps. Always, Lisa J
