Hi all, I'm home from finding out what was causing all the vomiting. A stricture, not completely closed but enough to make eating not a happy occurance. I had a dilation that stretched out the opening from 7mm to 10-12mm. My surgeon said I'll need atleast 2 more procedures to get it to be the 15-18cm that is normal. So I'm back on liquids for the week. They also found a ulcer and prescribed some additional medicine for that. At least now I know it wasn't just something I was doing wrong. I thought I was eating slow enough and not too much & the right food, but then I would get sick. It is strange because I kept looking at people being nauseus and just thinking well this is just part of the healing process and never adding in the point that I was also throwing up several times a day. You think you are smart & then you find out you can't add 2 and 2 to make 4 Anyways I'm feeling better even with just the 1st dilation and actually looking forward to the next 2. -Dawn

Poor thing, I'm sorry you are going through this. I hope it will improve to the extent that you can eat well without all of the time. Hugs, Dawn
