Lynda, I'm glad you told me that because I was looking forward to some dressing (my mother prepares dressing.......not stuffing). I do not wish to be sick!

I was placed on regular foods prior to leaving the hospital (a five day stay). Hopefully I'll be able to eat a little turkey but it all depends. Lately chicken has not been doing too good for me so I guess we'll have to see how the turkey goes. My mom plans on making me a sweet potatoe pie with splenda (I hope it's some good).

Vickie, I'm 1 month post-op and still doing only 2 oz of protein. I met with my nutritionist last week and I asked her about Thanksgiving. She said I can have only the 2 oz that I am allowed and I can have a teaspoon of a soft vegetable. So on turkey day, i'm having 2 oz of dark meat turkey and a teaspoon of squash. That's all I can have. I won't be able to eat fruits, veggies, starches, et****il 12-7-05. Good luck with Thanksgiving and choose accordingly and don't over do it. Lisa J

I'm going to have some turkey and veggies. Later I will have a sliver of the sugar free, crustless pumpkin pie I am making. I plan on having the same thing for a couple of days. Hugs, Dawn
