How are you doing??
Thanks for the prayers Celia. As for the working out, I figured since I'm able to eat at least twice as much as everyone here, I'd better workout at least twice as hard. It's kind of addicting. That first day I swam laps I made it only like 16 laps. Now I'm doing 44. It gives me a huge sense of accomplishment. I still hate the treadmill, though. I'll go the mile if it kills me, but only once made it past the 1 mile mark to 1.25, and that was only because on the tv in the cardioroom Elmo was on the Tony Danza show and it was hilarious. I used to think he was so annoying until Alex became an Elmo addict and I had to watch everyday. Now I think he's so cute.

Hi Celia,
I am down 21 pounds since the 17th Of Oct. I go tomorrow for my 1 month post op visit. I feel tired all the time still but that will go away in due time. As far as what I have I been doing, I'm an at home mom to a 6 yr old girl (who's in school from 8-2:30 p.m., so I pretty much go shopiing or hang around the house, hehehe.

I was thinking the same thing about the board, but I figured everyone was busy preping for the holidays (yeah like we can eat a whole hell of a lot) or getting ready to go back to work. I miss talking to you guys. I wish you the best and let's continue to keep in touch. Who knows....maybe later on this year (oops......next year) we can have an "Octoberans" meet and greet somewhere!! Take care!

Hi
Doing OK here, one day good, then another day yuck....
Hopeful though that the good days will soon out number the bad.
I went to see my PCP yesterday to have my blood pressure medicine modified, I am officially in the 200's! Yay! For me, that was a big deal seeing the little marker on the scale moved down a notch.

I am still here. Experimenting with foods. So far the only thing my pouch doesn't like it eggs. No loss.
I am down 24.2 pounds from surgery (264.8-240.6). I am hoping to reach 30 pounds lost by my one month surgerversary. That is 5.8 pounds to lose in 8 days. Next month I will be thrilled if I lose 15 pounds.

Hi!
This was a good idea, Celia. It's been too quiet on the board. Many of us have gone back to work. I'm at work now, but it's a quiet day. If I was busy, I'd be working, right?
I'm six weeks out from Fobi pouch surgery and panniculectomy. I went back to work on Monday, which was my 51st birthday. Thanks to all for the sweet birthday wishes. I started eating real food on Monday also. I'm experimenting, and the only thing that got me sick was the filling from a Del Taco egg burrito. I don't know why, though.
I still haven't found a protein I like much except for the melon flavored Profect. It's too expensive, though. I've got bags of samples and I gamely try each one. I guess I just don't like the taste of protein. I force it down anyway. I got some Stallone pudding, and I hate it, of course. If anyone wants to try them, let me know and I'll send you some. We'll share postage, but no charge for the pudding, okay? I have lemon, vanilla, chocolate and banana.
My worst problem is my continuing panniculectomy wound infection. The wound infection isn't infected anymore, but it is still open in a few spots and is still draining a little bit of yuck. It was unbelievably nasty the day it burst open. It's the whole section where my panni used to be, just the front. The wound goes from hip to hip and the hip parts are healed beautifully. My bellybutton looks good too, just red. The holes in my incision are supposed to scab over again and close within a week or three. I'm wearing feminine products on my stomach, which is the only use I have for the things anymore - but I'm not nostalgic for them.
I have lost 46 pounds since surgery, but I probably lost 10 from the skin and fat he removed from my tummy. I now weigh 194. I've been on a 3-day plateau now, but that's okay. I've read enough about plateaus on the boards to know they won't last forever.
Well, I didn't mean to write a book!
I'm looking forward to hear how everyone else is doing.
